【サンノゼ(米カリフォルニア州)2012年9月18日PRN=共同JBN】SunPower Corp.(ナスダック:SPWR)は18日、東芝との長期的な提携関係を今後数年にわたり延長すると発表した。基本供給契約によれば、東芝は急成長する日本の住宅用太陽光パネル市場に対応するため、100メガワット以上に相当するSunPowerの高効率ソーラーパネルを発注する。SunPowerは2010年に東芝と提携関係を結んで以来、約70メガワット相当の高性能ソーラーパネルを納入している。

Company Signs Multi-Megawatt Supply Agreement
SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR) today announced that the company has extended
its long-standing partnership with Toshiba for the next several years. Under
the terms of the master supply agreement, Toshiba will place orders of more
than 100-megawatts (MW) for SunPower's high efficiency solar panels to support
the rapidly growing residential solar market in Japan. Since SunPower first
partnered with Toshiba in 2010, it has delivered approximately 70 MW of its
high-performance solar panels.
