【シカゴ2012年10月1日PRN＝共同JBN】ノキア（Nokia）は27日、Location & Commerce 事業部門がパイオニアのアフターマーケット・ナビゲーションシステム向けにNAVTEQ（登録商標）Mapを供給するとともに、同社向けに関連する北米と欧州のマップ更新配信を取り扱うと発表した。このアフターマーケット・ブランド企業（パイオニア）は車載グレードで高精細NAVTEQ Mapのデータを通じて、快適なナビゲーション体験をドライバーに提供するため選ばれた最近の一連の大手OEMの1社に加わる。
ノキアのロケーション・プラットフォームは中核のコンテンツとともに、代表的な業界顧客による優れたロケーションベース・アプリケーションの開発支援を目指す包括的な「エコシステムの場」である。サービス・ポートフォリオの一部は、プロジェクト管理、マーケティングからロジスティックス、電子商取引、さらには完ぺきなコンシューマーケアまでのサポートに注力する。パイオニア向けマップ更新プログラムは、販売・製品支援、流通とともに返品処理が含まれる。

Nokia today announced that its Location & Commerce business is not only
supplying NAVTEQ(R) Maps for Pioneer aftermarket navigation systems, but also
handling the associated North American and European map update distribution for
Pioneer. This major aftermarket brand joins a recent stream of leading OEMs
choosing to offer drivers a superior navigation experience through automotive
grade, high precision NAVTEQ(R) Map data.
With content at its heart, the Nokia Location Platform is a comprehensive
'Where Ecosystem' designed to help a cross section of industry customers
develop premium location based applications. Part of the services portfolio
focuses on support ranging from project management and marketing to logistics,
ecommerce - and complete consumer care. The map update programme for Pioneer
will include sales and product support, distribution as well as returns
handling.
