メディアテック（MediaTek）は24日、スペインのバルセロナで開催されるモバイル・ワールド・コングレスで64ビットLTE SOC MT6732を発表する。MT6732はコヒレント64ビットARM Cortex-A53クラスターとMali-T760 GPUで構成される次世代コンピューティングシステムを実現し、次の段階の64ビット・モバイルコンピューティングとLTEが急増するスーパーミドル市場に提供する。同市場は主流の価格帯で最高機能を搭載したスマートフォンの購入を考えている数十億の消費者で構成されており、その内の多くは初めてスマートフォンを購入する人々である。
