Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. has entered into an agreement with the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in relation to the Tokyo 2020 Sponsorship Program, allowing the company to become a Tokyo 2020 Official Partner in the category of Construction and Residential Development.

As a member of a group that "co-creates value for individuals, communities, and people's lifestyles," we aim to contribute to the realization of a society in which all people can lead fulfilling lives by creating, using and enhancing new values together. Since our founding, we have been striving to achieve this through construction and related activities in our core business of single-family houses, and in such broad-ranging business domains as rental housing, condominiums, home renovation, commercial facilities, and logistics facilities as well as medical and nursing care facilities. With our management vision of "Connecting Hearts," we endeavor to assist people to achieve their dreams of owning their own homes, and become a trustworthy partner that is able to share their joy.

We have been an active supporter of the Japan Olympic Team as an official partner of the Japanese Olympic Committee since 2009, and have provided support to various sporting activities. In addition, we hired leading Japanese speed skater Yuya Oikawa as an employee in September 2010, and entered into an affiliation agreement with professional women's golfer Shiho Oyama in February 2012. We support lifestyles whereby people share joy and are enriched through the excitement of sports.

Daiwa House Industry will continue to contribute to the enhancement of sports in Japan via the Tokyo 2020 Sponsorship Program, which will also enable us to provide further support to the Japan Olympic and Paralympic teams. Along with building momentum and excitement in the lead-up to the Tokyo 2020 Games, we will contribute to the success of the event by conducting business activities that will make Tokyo a city Japan can be proud of before the whole world as a Tokyo 2020 Official Partner for Construction and Residential Development.
