三亜市がオーストラリア西部のクリッパー・レースで同市をプロモート

Sanya Promotes the City in Western Australia by Clipper Race

Fremantle is a major Australian port city in Western Australia, located at the

mouth of the Swan River. Fremantle Harbour serves as the port of Perth, the

state capital.

The city is named after Captain Charles Fremantle, the English naval officer

who established a camp at the site on the 2nd of May, 1829. The city contains

well-preserved 19th century buildings and other heritage features.

On November 30th, 2017, Sanya Serenity Coast had the chance to meet the

Fremantle people at Fremantle Sailing Club and the colorful yacht attracted a

lot of locals.

Ambassadors of Sanya Serenity Coast and some of the crew members introduced the

yacht, the race and Sanya city -- the tropical city in the southern Island of

China. The leggers who experienced leg 3 explained their general work on the

yacht such as how they worked as a team, what they did during the race, how

they spent their time on board, etc.

Marianne who is the member of SEA SHEPHERD asked questions about environmental

issues such as how they deal with the garbage and are they going to throw

everything into the ocean, etc. Marco, the ambassador of Sanya who is going to

join leg 4 had explained how the crew will deal with the garbage from yacht,

label of cans, etc. "Before we depart, we will take off all the label of cans

and the crew will strictly follow the MARPOL." The answer from Marco has

satisfied Marianne.

In addition, the local firefighters visited Sanya Serenity Coast. After they

heard about the yacht will sail around the world, their faces expressed
