Accelerate（C）モジュール・ファミリーの最新版であるSPB228は先に米ラスベガスで開催されたCESで発表された（http://mb.cision.com/Main/15814/2429571/776259.pdf ）。受注額は9万米ドル（75万スウェーデンクローナ）相当で、今年4月から8月にかけて納入される。

開発者はSPB228を使って、以下のような幅広いアプリケーションを目標にしている。

M.2 12×16mmフォーマットで低電力、かつ多用途なモジュールにより、所定の866.7Mbpsのデータ率を供給する機能豊富なクライアントのソリューションが実現できる。SPB228は、無線LANやBluetoothの同時、もしくは独立したオペレーションを完全にサポート、複数のPCIe、USB、SDIOの標準高速インターフェイスを備え、ホストシステムへの一本化を容易にする。デュアルスタンダードアンテナ接続によりフレキシブルなアンテナ選択が可能。モジュールはFCC（米連邦通信委員会）、IC（インダストリー・カナダ）、CE（欧州連合CEマーク）の認可を得ている。

order of the new SPB228 WiFi/BT module with a value of 90 KUSD. The order is

from ' No Isolation' in Norway for their AV2(C), a telepresence robot for

patients with long-term illness and KOMP(C), a communication device for seniors

The SPB228, is the latest addition to the Accelerate© module family, recently

launched at CES in Las Vegas
