GAC Motorはファミリーの旅行をより安全で便利にする目的で、GM6ミニバンを正式に発表した。待ち望まれていた、フルモデルチェンジされたこのファミリーカーは1月2日、中国の三亜で国内市場向けに発表された。海外のファンはこの1月にデトロイトで開催の2019年北米国際オートショー（North American International Auto Show、NAIAS）でGAC Motor最新のラインアップを見ることができる。
