HKDEAとTBSが「21st DigiCon6 ASIA Awards」授賞式共催で覚書調印

【香港2019年3月27日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】2019年11月に香港で行われる「21st Digicon6 ASIA Awards」授賞式開催のため、香港特別行政区政府のCreate Hong Kong（CreateHK）から支援を受け、Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association（香港デジタル・エンターテインメント協会、HKDEA）は株式会社東京放送ホールディングス（TBS）と手を組む。日本国外でDigiCon6 ASIA Awards授賞式が行われるのは初めてとなる。

香港で授賞式を共催するHKDEAとTBSの協力を記念し、3月20日に香港コンベンション&エキシビションセンター（HKCEC）で覚書（MOU）調印式が開催され、協力パートナーシップが開始された。

20年以上の歴史を持ちアジアで非常に名声のある短編アニメーション映画コンテスト、DigiCon6 ASIA Awardsは、可能性を秘めたクリエーティブな人材を発掘し、そのデジタルコンテンツを広める手助けをすることを狙いとしている。今年のDigiCon6 ASIA Awardsには、日本、中国本土、香港、台湾、タイ、シンガポール、韓国、マレーシア、ベトナム、カンボジア、インド、インドネシア、新たに加わったスリランカのアジア13カ国・地域が参加する。

HKDEAのガブリエル・パン会長は「HKDEAは香港におけるデジタル・エンターテインメント産業の発展促進と国際舞台での地元作品の競争力引き上げに尽力している。『第21回Digicon6 ASIA Awards』授賞式が香港で開催されることは、地元のデジタル・エンターテインメント産業にとって真の喜びだ。21周年に足を踏み入れ、『Digicon6 ASIA Awards』は高い評価を得ているだけでなく、地域の才能あるクリエーターを集める授賞式を通して機会を提供する。間違いなく業界内で名声のあるイベントだ」と語った。

The Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA) will join hands with

Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc. (TBS), under the sponsorship of Create

Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative

Region, to organise the "21st Digicon6 ASIA Awards" Presentation Ceremony in

Hong Kong in November 2019. It's the first time for the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards to

hold the Presentation Ceremony outside Japan.

To commemorate the cooperation between HKDEA and TBS in co-organising the

Awards Presentation Ceremony in Hong Kong, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

Signing Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

(HKCEC) on March 20 to kick-start the cooperation partnership.

A highly prestigious animated short film competition in Asia with over 20 years

of history, the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards aim to identity potential creative talent

and help promote their digital content. This year, the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards

will have 13 participating Asian countries/regions, namely Japan, Mainland

China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam,

Cambodia, India, Indonesia and the newly added Sri Lanka.

"HKDEA is dedicated to promoting the development of digital entertainment

industry in Hong Kong and to elevating the competitiveness of local productions
