-Tasting Note for Matsui Mizunara Cask from USC-
“Distinctive aromas of toasted cereal grains with dried fruit and flowers and fresh and enticing. The robust flavors explode in the mouth with roasted grain supported by softly sweet malt and expertly balanced spice, all leading to a silken finish. An absolute pleasure to drink.”

Matsui Brandy Umeshu (Plum liqueur made with brady) was also awarded the “Chairman’s Trophy” with 95 pts in Liqueur category. We are truly honored to receive these awards and will continue to deliver quality liquors to people all across the world.

-About Matsui Shuzo An Unlimited Partnership-
The Kurasyohi distillery is located in Tottori prefecture, Japan, manufacturing whisky, gin, plum liqueur, and so on. Surrounded by countryside, the region has an abundance of fresh water, generously supplied by snowfall on Mt. Daisen (大山). The subtropical climate is partly influenced by its proximity to the Sea of Japan. Temperatures reach around 35℃ in summer and drop to below 0℃ in winter. This variation greatly accelerates the aging of whisky.
