The 2026 Global Industrial Internet Conference was successfully held in Shenyang from September 8 to 10. Under the theme of smart transformation, digital upgrade, and industries empowered by AI, the conference brought together government officials and guests from business, academic, research, and industrial circles around the world to discuss innovation and development in the Industrial Internet.

The conference featured an opening ceremony, a main forum, multiple core and parallel forums, and international exchange activities, along with a range of side events, including the Shenyang sub-exhibition of the photography exhibition "Lens of Xinhua, Images of the Century - Building a Financial Powerhouse". Together, these activities build a panoramic platform for dialogue spanning technology, industry, capital, and ecosystem.

The thematic forum on industrial intelligence innovation and development and the Shenyang special forum on "AI + Manufacturing", themed "Pooling Wisdom in Shenyang · Exploring AI Together", focused on innovative applications integrating AI with industry, with particular attention to cutting-edge fields such as industrial AI agents and embodied intelligence. The forum accelerated the intelligent, green, and integrated upgrading of manufacturing, injecting strong momentum into the fostering of new quality productive forces and the building of a manufacturing powerhouse. At the forum, Shenyang released the Action Plan for "AI + Manufacturing" in Shenyang (2026 - 2027) . Centered on Shenyang's "3+4+3" industrial development system, the plan identifies the core pathways "built upon data, empowered by models, and grounded in scenarios". It sets out key tasks across areas such as applications in major industries, supply of critical technologies, computing-power infrastructure, and policy and factor support, while also outlining 18 typical application scenarios. The plan provides action guidance for the smart transformation, digital upgrade, and high-quality development of Shenyang's manufacturing sector.
