Shinko Shoji Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Tatsuya Ogawa (hereinafter referred to as “Shinko Shoji”) has signed DISTRIBUTOR SHIP AGREEMENT with Faraday Technology Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "FTC").

FTC is a fabless ASIC and silicon intellectual property (IP) provider gained independence from United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) and established in 1993. Headquartered in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, FTC has technical support offices all over the world, including the United States, Japan, China, India, and Vietnam. In 2023, FTC has shipped more than 120 million ASIC chips and provided 22,000 silicon wafers and IP customization services for worldwide.

The two companies will contribute to the realization of low-power, high-performance systems for the customers by combining FTC's advanced ASIC products with Shinko Shoji’s accumulated ASIC design and development capabilities, especially for industrial and automotive customers.

Shinko Shoji aims to accomplish the sales of 15 billion yen of FTC’s products and services by 2027.

In the meeting between the two companies on August 1st,

Steve Wang, President of FTC, has commented,
