Descente to Release Munsingwear Products Developed in Collaboration with Illustrator SODEKAHO
Descente Ltd. will release in early May special goods under its "Munsingwear" brand, which the company has produced in collaboration with popular Japanese illustrator Kahoko Sodeyama (well known as SODEKAHO), as “Munsingwear x SODEKAHO.” Munsingwear was put into place originally as a golf wear brand in 1955.

SODEKAHO actively draws illustrations for many books and magazines while holding personal art exhibitions. Her drawing style, in which she uses thick acrylic paints just like melted chocolate, is loved by many people.
SODEKAHO drew illustrations featuring a penguin, which is the brand’s icon, as well as the U.S. city of Miami and Cuba, which are the brand’s spring-summer season theme, for “Munsingwear x SODEKAHO” products. Polo shirts and other products on which these illustrations are printed will give a fresh impression to consumers including many Munsingwear fans.
In early May, “Munsingwear x SODEKAHO” products will be put on sale at various stores.
